Buffalo Herd Crosses Hudson River

It seems truer every year that you can never say for sure what you’re going to see in the Hudson River.

According to The Albany Times-Union, a herd of about 15 buffalo were spotted on Schodack Island in the river Thursday evening.

Apparently, the large animals escaped from George Mesick’s Farm in Schodack and likely swam across to the western side of the Hudson River, where today they’ve caused some havoc, stopping traffic on I-87.
